Kim Donovan

I am an actor and trained dancer (I can also sing a little but consider myself a dancer/singer vs a singer/dancer) based in Los Angeles. I earned my B.A. in Theatre from the University of Central Florida with a minor in Creative Writing. I’m currently self-represented but seeking a new theatrical/commercial agent to work with.  My background is primarily live shows and major theme park performing roles. Previously I was a dance captain for the Animated Department at Universal Studios Orlando. I am also a writer/producer on independent projects for my production company Feisty Pirate Productions LLC. The first short film project I produced was Lynch & Chrighton, featuring characters from the live comedic/adventure pirate performance troupe, Pirates for Hire. This was intended to be a prequel to a larger project some of us had written and planned on filming should we acquire the funding. Inspired by my time working at a year-round haunted attraction, my feature screenplay ScareActor has won and been nominated for best feature screenplay in numerous film and screenplay festivals. During 2020 I also wrote a novel version based on the screenplay which is available on Amazon. I had planned to film a proof-of-concept short film for ScareActor in March of 2020, but unfortunately lockdowns shut down the production a week before we were to begin filming, but I am still planning to revive this project when funding comes together. Anyway, I am available as an actor for your projects in the meantime:)
